Living for almost 10 years as a ski and climbing-bum through the mountains around this globe, I have seen lots of action. This gives me the possibility to take unconventional photo-angles with the feature to use climbing gear to get to those positions. Due to my strong background in the climbing and big-mountain skiing scene, I trained my perception for the right moment to the point where triggering the shutter at the sweet-spot’s of an athletes move became instinctive. Because of the fact I sweated blood for my sports over that many years, I know what it’s all about and I’m able to pick out the most important scenes.
